I am writing this to formally appeal a temporary ban I received on the server. The anti-cheat system triggered a block on my account for "cheating," but I want to assure you that this is a completely false positive result. I do not use any hacks, cheats, or unfair modifications.
Here are the technical details regarding my setup and why I believe the anti-cheat flagged me incorrectly:
Operating System: I am a Linux user (running Fedora/Arch Linux).
Display Server Issue (Wayland/XWayland): My desktop environment uses the Wayland display server. Because Minecraft Java Edition relies on older GLFW libraries, it runs through a compatibility layer called XWayland. This setup sometimes causes micro-stuttering or sudden mouse capturing glitches (raw input desync). When turning around quickly during a stutter, my client sends rapid, unnatural rotation packets that anti-cheat systems often misinterpret as an AimBot or KillAura.
Performance Mods: To get smooth gameplay on Linux, I use open-source optimization mods like Sodium and Lithium. These mods optimize packet handling and rendering, which can occasionally cause synchronization issues with older server-side anti-cheat configurations during a sudden ping spike.
I am a dedicated member of the community and I strictly follow the rules. I was even preparing to apply for the staff team because I love this server.
My Ban Details:
Ban ID: 19e9e8e85c1dab09
Evidence Attached: I have attached the original screenshot taken on 2026-06-06 named "Screenshot from 2026-06-06 21-18-07.png" showing the exact error screen.
I kindly request the moderation team to look into my ban ID and review the logs. You will see that my movement anomalies were purely due to Linux/XWayland rendering desync and lag, not any malicious client.
Thank you for your time, understanding, and hard work in keeping the server safe. I hope to get back on the network soon.
Best regards,
